iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max were announced during Apple’s scheduled keynote on September 10 – each device is appealing for the swathe of features they bring to the table.

iPhone 11 is essentially a successor to last year’s iPhone XR – it shares a similar aesthetic to the 2018 handset but totes an improved camera system and is available in different colours.

Apple’s new mobile boasts a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor – the introduction of the latter certainly makes the device’s camera system more diverse than its predecessor.

Powering the iPhone 11 is a new A13 Bionic chipset Apple claims is the fastest in a smartphone right now.

The new silicon should deliver rapid performance across iOS 13 and, combined with its GPU, should have no trouble playing the most graphically intense games on the App Store.

It is worth noting the iPhone 11 does share many characteristics with the iPhone XR – the device boasts the same 6.1-inch LCD display and has a similar build comprised of glass and aluminium.

The iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max offer the same design and features – the only differences between the two concern display and battery sizes.

iPhone 11 Pro flaunts a 5.8-inch OLED display while the Pro Max totes a 6.5-inch screen.

The main advantage the Pro devices have over the standard iPhone 11 comes from its added telephoto camera – this should provide improved picture quality when zooming in.

It is worth noting the high-end devices come with the same primary and telephoto sensors as the iPhone 11.

One of the most notable upgrades presented by the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max is with regard to battery life.

Apple is claiming the former should be able to deliver four extra hours of life than the iPhone Xs and the 11 Pro will offer five more than last year’s Xs Max.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro series will go live later today.

Apple fans can reserve their new device from 1pm today.

Customers are able to purchase the product outright but also have the opportunity to trade in an old iPhone to get money off.

Those with an iPhone Xs or Xs Max will be able to claim up to £390 and £470 respectively if they trade it in.

Older handsets such as the iPhone X or iPhone 8 Plus can cut the cost of Apple’s new iPhones by up to £310 and £250, too.

• iPhone 11 – from £729

• iPhone 11 Pro – from £1,049

• iPhone 11 Pro Max – from £1,149

To be expected, major UK networks such as Vodafone, EE and Three will be stocking Apple’s latest range of iPhones, too.
