BT is rivalling Sky and Virgin Media with an offer that some may find hard to refuse.

The telecoms firm is currently giving customers the chance to grab a free Xbox One or Samsung Galaxy Tab A Tablet when they sign up to fibre broadband with BT Sport.

These tech gifts are worth up to £249 and that’s not all as there’s also a free Mastercard gift card thrown in as well.

The offer is available on a number of packages including the standard Superfast Fibre Essential plan and Superfast Fibre 2.

Here’s how much each cost and what is included.

Superfast Fibre Essential – £29.99 – Includes speeds of up to 36Mbps plus unlimited usage and a £30 reward card.

Superfast Fibre – £35.99 – Includes speeds of up to 50Mbps plus unlimited usage and a £60 reward card.

Superfast Fibre 2 – £39.99 – Includes speeds of up to 73Mbps plus unlimited usage and an £80 reward card.

Those prices are for broadband plus phone and to get the free Xbox or Samsung tablet you will need to add the cost of BT Sport on top.

These costs vary but access to this content via the app will cost and extra £10 whilst going for the Max package on your TV and in full HD will add another £20 to your monthly bill.

It’s worth noting that this deal won’t be around for long with the offer ending on August 15.

Although BT is giving away these free gifts it’s worth noting that there are plenty of other deals available from Virgin Media and Sky.

Virgin has just cut the cost of its ultimate Oomph bundle which includes some serious features and TV.

For your money, you get Sky Sports, Sky Cinema, Kids Pick plus over 270 more channels to tune in to.

Then there’s Virgin’s M500 broadband which is included in the bundle and brings speeds of over 510Mbps to your home.

You also get Talk More Anytime and Virgin’s Truly Unlimited SIM which features all you can eat data, calls and texts.

This Oomph option would usually cost £99 per month but Virgin is currently offering it for £89 which is saving of £120 over the 12-month contract.

Sky who has announced a swathe of price cuts on a range of products including Sports, Cinema and Entertainment.

There’s also a drop for those wanting to add broadband into the mix.
